What we do
Over time AFSA activities will be rolled out either in online or in-person format. AFSA envisages training programmes in various formats, development of best-practice guidelines, webinars, workshops and much more!
Network
AFSA provides the first network for forensic science practitioners across Africa that includes all fields within the forensic sciences.
Webinars
Speakers from across the globe, but with a focus on Africa, will present regular webinars to our members online. This platform is ideal for practitioners across Africa to connect.
Training
Workshops and other training events will be hosted by AFSA or AFSA collaborators in our network.
How we define the term "African"
Echoing the definition of the African Union, AFSA defines an individual as someone with African parents, that were born in Africa, or has citizenship of an African country conferred by naturalisation or marriage.
